Banks annual Truck & Tractor Pull

General Rules:
1. Contest open to all farm tractors: Tractors will be entered in only one contest.
2. Banks Sunset Park Pulling Committee reserves the right to accept or reject any or all
entries or refuse admission to anyone.
3. Operator accepts any and all liability and holds Banks Sunset Park Association
harmless from any loss regarding the operation of his machine at this event.
4. Each operator must sign a Release and Waiver Agreement at registration
5. All minors must be at least 16 years of age and have written consent of parents or
guardian to enter contest.
6. Tractors must enter one the following weight classes.
A 0-3000              E 6001-7000             I 10001-11000                M 14001-15000
B 3001-4000        F 7001-8000             J 11001-12000                N 15001-16000
C 4001-5000        G 8001-9000             K 12001-13000               O 16001-17000
D 5001-6000        H 9001-10000           L 13001-14000                P 17001-18000

7. Tractors should be pull ready at weigh-in time. Weigh in time starts at 8 am to 12 pm,
Pull starts on Saturday at 2 pm. and Sunday at 1 pm. Please be on time.
8. No down shifting. Maximum speed not to exceed 5 MPH anywhere on the grounds.

Tractor Rules:
1. Weight includes driver. No weight changed or weight shifting or driver changes. All
weights must be bolted or otherwise fastened securely to the tractor chassis.
2. Drawbar height maximum 21 inches from ground to top of drawbar.
3. All hitches must be at least 12 inches from the center of rear axle.
4. Engine RPM not to exceed manufactures recommendation.
5. All stock tractors must weigh at least shipping weight.
6. Tractor operator must furnish own clevis or hook point.

Judging Rules:
1. Only one pull allowed each contestant unless a tie is declared.  Pull is ended when
tractor engine stalls or forward motion stops.  No jerking or hole digging.
2. Contest to be governed by three judges, will all decisions final.  Judges have the right
to stop and disqualify any contestant’s tractor if it is being operated in such a manner
as would be considered unsafe, or rule violation.
3. Tractors may be re-checked after their pull is complete if there is any question of rule
violation.
